Moreover, the gossips claims that the smartphone will pack in several enhancements over its predecessor in significant areas. Both the HTC One M9 and the alleged HTC One M9 Plus were spotted on a benchmarking site called Compubench, revealing all the key specifications. The One M9 was also found on Cyberport.de, revealing complete specifications and official press images. And recently, the promo videos of HTC One M9 got leaked online, detailing the features.

The HTC One M9 is all set to be launched on March 1st at the MWC 2015 tech show in Barcelona. In the meantime, we are witnessing several leaks and speculations regarding the smartphone revealing what we can expect from it. Moreover, the gossips claims that the smartphone will pack in several enhancements over its predecessor in significant areas. 

Both the HTC One M9 and the alleged HTC One M9 Plus were spotted on a benchmarking site called Compubench, revealing all the key specifications. The One M9 was also found on Cyberport.de, revealing complete specifications and official press images. And recently, the promo videos of HTC One M9 got leaked online, detailing the features.

Starting with Compubench listing, the complete list of specifications of the HTC One M9 codenamed Hima has been leaked online. As per the listing, the smartphone will boast of a 5-inch Full HD display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. In terms of hardware, the device is stuffed with a octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 SoC clocked at 2GHz. This processor is likely to be paired with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 430 graphics unit.

On the imaging front, the One M9 is said to feature a 20MP main camera unit at its back with dual LED flash and support for 4K video recording. At the front, the device is claimed to pack a 4MP UltraPixel camera. HTC One M9 is expected to come in two variants – 32GB and 64GB of native storage capacities and run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop topped with Sense 7.0 UI.

On the other hand, the HTC One M9 Plus is said to come with a 5.1-inch Quad HD display with screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, and be powered by 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor paired with PowerVR Rogue G6200 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Other specifications of the One M9 Plus is similar to that of the One M9.

Following the benchmark listing, the HTC One M9 was also found listed on German online retailer Cyberport's website. The product listing has since been removed, but it not only revealed the key specifications of the upcoming flagship but also included official press renders of the smartphone. 

The specifications listed by Cyberport is similar to Compubench listing. Additional details included microSD card support, 2,900 mAh battery capacity and 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.61 mm profile. Cyberport lists the One M9 in gunmetal gray and gold on silver color options. The design of One M9 looks pretty familiar to One M8, with major difference being the rear camera module. (via)

The press renders leaked by Cyberport was further authenticated by emerging gadget leaker @upleaks. Upleaks not only uploaded additional press images of the HTC One M9 on his Twitter account, rather he also uploaded a series of One M9 promo videos, which leaves nothing to imagination.

The videos were quickly taken down by upleaks but not before another source uploaded the same on the web. The first promo video shows the design of the One M9 along with its hardware highlights with include two-tone metal body finish, UltraPixel front camera, 20MP main camera and BoomSound speakers with Dolby Surround support.

The other two videos focuses on the camera of the One M9 and on the Sense-d Android 5.0 of the device. Some of the features of Sense 7.0 include improved BlinkFeed, ability to create your own theme with Theme Builder, Home Widget: which lists apps on the home screen based on the time of the day and more.







With just few hours to go for the official unveiling of the HTC One M9, do expect to hear more news in the meantime.
