Sony Xperia M4 Aqua with Android 5.0 Lollipop, IP68 certification officially announced

Along with the Xperia Z4 Tablet, Sony has also announced a new high-end mid-ranger Android smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. Dubbed as Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, as the name suggests, is water/dust resistant and has IP65 and IP68 certification, giving it the highest protection against dust and water that is possible in a smartphone (upto 1.5m for 30 mins).

It's not only Samsung and HTC who came up with new devices at MWC, Sony has also introduced a new Xperia tablet at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. The new tablet is the successor of already available Xperia Z2 Tablet and is dubbed as Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, indicating that a new Xperia series is on its way.

Finally after series of leaks and rumours, HTC at an event in MWC at Barcelona has officially announced the much-awaited, successor of One (M8), the HTC One M9. As expected, the HTC One M9 has similar design language as One (M8) and original One, the only difference is visible on the rear side of the phone. As it turns out, almost all of the rumours we had seen come out to be true.

With less than 2 hours to go for the official unveiling of HTC's flagship smartphone, the HTC One M9, the same was recently found listed on US retailer Best Buy website. The Best Buy listing has since been taken down, but not before going viral. The listing was of the AT&T branded 32GB model of One M9 in Grey colour priced at $649.99, without contract.

Samsung sends out invitations for March 1 event to unveil the Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 Edge

Samsung has sent out media invites for an event that is scheduled to happen on March 1 during the pre-MWC meet in Barcelona. The vendor is expected to unleash the flagship Galaxy S6 and the highly anticipated curved display model called Galaxy S6 Edge. The invite reads What's Next and features a curved display device, which clearly hints at the Galaxy S6 Edge. 

Gionee to introduce the Elife S7 at MWC 2015 on March 2, reported to be ultra-slim

The Mobile World Congress 2015 is all set to debut early next month and Gionee has announced that it will launch a new ultra slim smartphone during the event. It is claimed that the upcoming Gionee Elife S7 will be joining the already existing slim smartphones such as Gionee Elife S5.5 and Elife S5.1. Notably, the latter was quickly overshadowed by Oppo R5 that was launched in October.

Sony Xperia E4 alleged live images and specifications leaked online

Sony announced the low-end Xperia E3 smartphone only in September, but so soon the vendor appears to be prepping its sequel. As per a leak from Poland, the Xperia E4 is likely to go official at the MWC 2015 and to hit the retailer shelves by the end of the first quarter of 2015. Also, the leak speculates that the Xperia E4 would be priced around $200.
