Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge to feature metal frame; camera details leaked

After many rumors and speculations, it is likely confirmed that Samsung will be launching two variants of the Galaxy S6. Well, a Bloomberg report states that the vendor will launch normal Galaxy S6 and a curved display Note Edge style Galaxy S6 easily dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones that seems to be somewhat like a confirmation. The report also confirms that the curved model will have two edge displays and not just one like Note Edge.

After many rumors and speculations, it is likely confirmed that Samsung will be launching two variants of the Galaxy S6. Well, a Bloomberg report states that the vendor will launch normal Galaxy S6 and a curved display Note Edge style Galaxy S6 easily dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones that seems to be somewhat like a confirmation. The report also confirms that the curved model will have two edge displays and not just one like Note Edge.

As per the report, both the models will have 5.1-inch displays and that Samsung has kept the display small to make it more manageable. While the report states that the edged version will sport the curves along its Y axis and leave a rounded display on the sides, a SamMobile report claims that the curve will be gentler almost 30 percent to 50 percent lesser than that on the Note Edge in order to house the volume and power controls.

Bloomberg also confirms that the Galaxy S6 and its curved variant will boast a metallic frame as in the Galaxy Alpha. It is likely to feature a fingerprint sensor on its home button and arrive in white, blue green, gold and dark blue color options.

Besides these aspects, the upcoming Samsung flagship smartphone’s camera details get surfaced online via a SamMobile report showing that it will provide a camera performance.

As per report, the model will feature a 20MP main camera with optical image stabilization and a 5MP front facer. The rear snapper is likely to capture images of varying resolution such as 20MP (5952×3348), 15MP (4464×3348), 11MP (3344×3344), 8MP (3264×2448), 6MP (3264×1836) and 2.4MP (2048×1152). The sensor will feature the Pro mode in the camera app that will let users to choose between three focus models.

Also, it is said that the Gallery app will show both the text and icon of the controls for easy handling. There will be support to save RAW images, control the shutter speed and more. If the latest Samsung teasers for #TheNextGalaxy is any hint, then the upcoming flagship smartphone will feature the most powerful camera ever.
