HTC One E9+ is not the only HTC smartphone to feature Quad HD display in 2015. HTC had also introduced a new variant of the One M9, featuring Quad HD display in a 5.2-inch screen dubbed as HTC One M9+. The One M9+, as the name suggests is a bigger variant of original One M9 and comes with some unexpected specs.
According to HTC, the One M9+ will be available in three colors including Gold on Silver, Gunmetal Gray and Gold on Gold.
HTC has stuffed the One M9+ with a home button like Fingerprint scanner below the display. HTC says that the scanner has multi-directional sensors that lets you place your finger on the sensor in any direction to unlock your phone.
As far as specifications are concerned, HTC One M9+ comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, 2.2GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek helio X10 (MT6795T) processor, PowerVR G6200 GPU, 3GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7 on top. The smartphone measures 150.99 x 71.99 x 9.61 mm and weights 168 grams.
Camera-wise, the smartphone packs in 20MP rear camera with dual LED flash, sapphire cover lens and f/2.2 aperture with secondary camera for depth information (Duo camera set-up) and a 4MP UltraPixel front facing camera with 26.8mm wide-angle lens.
Other specifications include 32GB internal storage with whooping expandable memory up to 2TB using microSD card and 2,840 mAh battery. Like all One series smartphones, the One M9+ also comes with dual front facing HTC BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio.
Connectivity series include 4G LTE support, 3G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), DLNA, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, micro-USB 2.0 port and Internal GPS antenna + GLONASS + Beidou.
