Along with the new Moto E, Motorola had also launched the Moto Turbo in the India market couple of months back. Moto Turbo is actually the Motorola Droid Turbo that was introduced last year in the U.S. It was later launched as Moto Maxx for global markets. The Moto Turbo is a high-end smartphone and comes in black color with Ballistic Nylon back for greater durability.
Motorola has priced the Moto Turbo in the country at Rs. 41,999. Like all other Motorola devices, the new Moto Turbo is also available in India exclusively through online retailer Flipkart.
On the specifications front, the Moto Turbo comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, pixel density of 565 PPI and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection, 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Other specifications include an 21MP primary snapper with dual LED flash and 4K video recording capability, an 2MP front-facing camera for video conferencing and clicking selfies, 64GB internal storage, and mammoth 3,900 mAh battery, that is rated to deliver up to 48 hours of backup to the smartphone.
The Droid Turbo includes connectivity features such as 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS with GLONASS and NFC.
