Entry-level Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo with sAMOLED display goes official

Samsung has silently listed a new entry-level smartphone on its official website. Called Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo, the device is found listed on Samsung's South Africa website. The Galaxy J1 Ace Neo is an entry-level device and comes with Super AMOLED display. The phone will be available in black, white and blue color options.

Additional details such as pricing and availability are yet to be disclosed.

On the specifications front, Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with 800 x 480 pixels, 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SD8830 processor with 1GB of RAM and Android 5.1 Lollipop (Why?). The device measures 130.1 x 67.6 x 9.5 mm and weighs 131 grams.

Talking of camera, we get a 5MP rear-facing camera with LED flash, Auto-focus, ƒ/2.2 aperture and HD (1280 x 720p @ 30fps) video recording along with a 2MP front-facing camera. Other specifications include 8GB internal storage with microSD card support (up to 128GB) and 1900mAh battery.

Connectivity series include 2G / 3G / 4G LTE FDD-TDD, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP, Wi-Fi Direct, USB 2.0, GPS and GLONASS.
