Micromax Canvas Gold A300 with 5.5-inch display, 2GHz octa-core processor, Android 4.4 KitKat now available in India for Rs. 20,249

Last week we came across some live images of the upcoming Micromax Canvas smartphone dubbed as Micromax Canvas Gold. The smartphone was reported to get launched on June 16th, but it didn't and Micromax only announced its first Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones on that day. Now, Micromax has silently started selling the Canvas Gold in India.

Update (10:07PM IST): After searching more about Micromax A300, we came across some live images of the smartphone leaked by DesiGadgets. According to them, the smartphone will be called as the Micromax Canvas Gold. The site notes that Micromax would price the Canvas Gold at Rs. 24,000, and its MOP will be around Rs. 21,000. 

Earlier: Micromax launched the Canvas 4 last year. The smartphone was succeeded by Canvas Knight earlier this year in March. Now, Micromax is all set to introduce a new flagship Android smartphone in the Indian market. Carrying the model number A300, the smartphone is reported to come with a 5.5-inch display. The Micromax A300 is found listed on Zauba.
