Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy Grand 2, Galaxy Grand Neo and Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 gets price-cut in India

After launching the Galaxy Note 4 in the country last month, Samsung earlier this week reduced the price of several of its smartphones and tablet. The smartphones which have got a price-cut include the Galaxy S5, Galaxy S5 LTE, Galaxy Grand 2 and Galaxy Grand Neo. In addition, Samsung has also reduced the price of the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 (T231). In addition, Samsung has started selling the Samsung Gear S in the country.

Samsung Gear S with 2-inch curved display, 3G connectivity support launched in India for Rs. 28,900

Along with Galaxy Note 4, Samsung has also introduced the independent Samsung Gear S in the Indian market. Samsung Gear S runs on Tizen-based wearable platform and was original announced back in August and showcased at IFA 2014 in Berlin. Samsung has priced the Gear S in the country at Rs. 28,900 and it comes in black and white colour options.

Samsung on Thursday officially took the wraps off a new smartwatch running on Tizen-based wearable platform. Dubbed as Samsung Gear S, the smartwatch comes with built-in SIM card slot (3G connectivity) and curved Super AMOLED display. Along with Gear S, Samsung has also announced the new Samsung Gear Circle wireless earphone. According to Samsung, both the Gear S and the Gear Circle will be available in global markets beginning October.
