Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Mi Pad launched in India for Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 12,999

Xiaomi back in March officially launched the successor of Redmi 1S in the Indian market called the Xiaomi Redmi 2. Along with Redmi 2, the vendor also announced the launch of the Xiaomi Mi Pad tablet in the country. Xiaomi Redmi 2 was originally announced earlier this year, whereas the Mi Pad is almost a year old. 

Xiaomi Redmi 2 with 64-bit Snapdragon processor, 4G LTE support announced

As expected, Xiaomi has officially unveiled the successor of its biggest hit Redmi 1S, called Xiaomi Redmi 2 in the Chinese market during the start of the month. The Xiaomi Redmi 2 comes with improved processor, bigger battery, high resolution front camera and 4G LTE support, rest of the specifications are similar to the Redmi 1S.
