Sony rolling out Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for Sony Xperia Tablet Z LTE version and Xperia ZR

After rolling out Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for Xperia Z and Xperia ZL, Sony is now rolling out the same update for Xperia Tablet Z LTE and Xperia ZR. Currently, the update is rolling out in selected countries. As per the report, Sony Xperia ZR Android 4.2.2 update is currently live in Russia, Germany, Denmark and Norway. It is expected to be available in more regions over the coming weeks. As usual, the update for both the devices are available via Sony PC Companion. 

Sony Xperia ZR

The update brings new firmware version (Build Number) 10.3.1.A.0.244, which is the same build that is now available for the Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL. There is no official change-log available right now, but according to reports, Sony Xperia ZR 4.2.2 update brings improved RAM management, improved performance, improvement in 3G service, better touch response, lock-screen widget, quick toggles notifications and more.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z

While, Xperia Tablet Z LTE update brings quite some changes in UI. The new update brings more phone like UI instead of a tablet UI.
