After getting success from LG Vu and LG Vu 2 in Korea, LG has officially announced the next version of LG Vu smartphone today. Dubbed as LG Vu 3, the smartphone is officially announced by LG today, and according to LG, the phablet will be released in Korea on September 27th on few Korean telecom operators including, LG U+, SK Telecom and KT Telecom. There is no word from LG related to pricing and worldwide availability of the phablet.
On the specifications side, LG Vu 3 comes with a 5.2-inch IPS HD 1280x960p resolution display with 308ppi pixel density which features a boxy aspect ratio of 4:3 along with 2.3GHz (2.26GHz to be exact) quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU running at 450MHz, 2GB RAM, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box with LG's customized UI on top.
The phablet also comes with 13MP rear facing shooter with LED flash and BSI sensor along with 2.1MP front shooter, 2,610 mAh of removable battery and LTE-A connectivity.
The LG Vu 3 also comes with a dedicated rubber rhodium stylus pen, LG's translucent QuickView case and few software customizations like, KnockOn and Guest Mode, which were first seen on the LG G2.
The phablet is 9.4mm thick and weighs 161 grams, and comes in three different colour options, White, Mint and Indigo Black.
