Sony Xperia Z1 Mini aka Honami Mini first alleged image leaks online, tipped for CES 2014 launch

Sony announced the long leaked Sony Xperia Z1, probably know as Sony Honami last week at IFA 2013. As, it's a flagship device, Sony will price it with premium tag, due to which many of them could not afford it. So, the company is rumoured to launch the mini version of the smartphone too, without limiting the specifications too much. There has been rumours of Sony working on a mini version of Xperia Z1 for a quite while now, with first live images of the phone leaked below.

The image above shows the back of Xperia Z1 Mini painted in purple alongside purple and black Xperia Z1's. As it's the mini version, Sony will use the same design language but with downgraded display size. The image can easily be referred as a Photoshop job, due to uneven shadows visible on the side of the phone.

So, it's better to take this picture as a pinch of salt. In addition, one more image showing the existence of Xperia Z1 Mini has been leaked on Digi-wo, which confirms Snapdragon 800 CPU, 4.3-inch display and SO-02E as the model number.

Till now, according to all the previous reports, the Xperia Z1 Mini is meant to have a 4.3-inch HD 720p display, Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and 20.7MP rear camera, same camera as found in the Xperia Z1. Also, the phone is said to get released at CES 2014.
