The wait for BlackBerry Messenger for Android and iOS will be over soon. BlackBerry's Chief Marketing Officer Frank Boulben has revealed that, BlackBerry Messenger aka BBM for Android and iOS will be released in respective app stores soon, "within days". BBM for Android and iOS was actually planned for September launch, but due to the leaked BBM for Android app apk file the rollout was suspended.

BBM for All

That unreleased version of the BBM for Android app which was posted online, was reportedly been installed by over 1.1 million people, which caused severe issues and technical problems, due to which BlackBerry had to stop the rollout of BBM for both Android and iOS.

Frank Boulben told Reuters in an interview that, the company is doing well and the development is going according to the plan. According to BlackBerry, 6 million people have pre-registered to be notified for the released of the BBM on Android and iOS.
