Google Nexus 7 2013 reported to get launched in India next month

Google announced the next-generation Nexus 7 tablet this year in July at an event held in San Francisco. The new Nexus 7 tablet is a major upgrade over it's predecessor, in terms of specifications, looks and features. The Nexus 7 2013 was officially announced on July 24th, and on the next day Google India's page sported a "coming soon" tag, which is still the same. If TOI reports are believed to be true, then Google will launch it's Nexus 7 2013 in India in November.

According to TOI report, Google will launch the tablet all by itself rather than through its manufacturing partner Asus. The report added that, Google is currently testing the new Nexus 7 with Indian apps and customised content with an aim of giving buyers better value for their money.

The tablet will be available for purchase on the Google Play Store and also through all major brick and mortar retailers. The Nexus 7 2013 will also be initially sold by Google's own retail arm, AndroidLand stores in Noida and Bangalore. The AndroidLand stores are run jointly by Google and Spice Mobility.

Currently, the first-generation Nexus 7 tablet is available in India for much cheaper price, than the official price. Nexus 7 is currently retailing at Rs 15,999 for the 16GB version and Rs 18,999 for the 32GB version on the Google Play Store. However, the tablets are getting sold online for as low as Rs 9,999 for the 16GB version and Rs 15,999 for the 32GB version.
