Samsung's first curved display smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Round is official, and now it's time for LG to show their first curved display smartphone in front of the world. Dubbed as LG G Flex, the smartphone details was leaked last week. Now, this LG's upcoming curved smartphone has emerged in a trio of leaked press photos. These images have been leaked by CNET.
The press renders reveals that the LG G Flex sports a differently curved body than the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Round. The Galaxy Round curves from left to right, whereas the LG G Flex curves from top to bottom with radius of 700mm.
The G Flex sports 6-inch curved display, with no buttons on the sides, like on LG G2. After zooming one of the press image of G Flex, it was noticeable that there is a slight hump on the back, which undoubtedly suggest that the phone will have it's power and volume buttons on the back panel.
According to Engadget, the LG G Flex will be announced officially sometime next month. The specifications, pricing and availability are as of yet unknown.
In related, according to evleaks tweet, the LG LS995 (Chameleon) is the G Flex for Sprint, and LG D950 for AT&T. Evleaks has also posted the UAProf of LG LS995, which reveals that the smartphone will comes with HD (1280x720p) display, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, Snapdragon 800 (M8974A) processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage with no microSD card slot, 2.1MP front facing camera and 13MP rear camera.
