After getting success from Galaxy Grand, Samsung has officially announced the upgraded version of the smartphone today. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Grand 2, the smartphone is the successor of original Grand and comes with impressive specs. According to Samsung's press release, the Galaxy Grand 2 will be available in White and Black colours, and Pink colour will available in selective regions.
The Galaxy Grand 2 back features faux leather finish, similar to the Galaxy Note 3. There is no word on when the smartphone will be available and for what price, but we hope Samsung reveals the rest of the details soon.
Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 comes with a 5.25-inch HD TFT display with 16:9 aspect ratio, 1.2GHz quad-core processor (chipset unknown), Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, 1.5GB RAM, and dual-SIM support. The smartphone is 8.9mm thick and weighs 163 grams.
Other specifications include, 8MP Auto Focus rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with 64GB microSD card expansion, and 2,600 mAh battery.
Connectivity series include, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS ＋ Glonass, USB 2.0 and 3G support. Some of the pre-loaded apps include, ChatON, Samsung Hub, S Health, Group Play, S Travel, S Translator, Samsung Link and Story Album.
