The much-awaited Google Nexus 5 is now officially official. Google has officially took the wraps off the Nexus 5 recently. The Google Nexus 5 is company's fifth Nexus smartphone and successor of Nexus 4. The Nexus 5 is built by LG, and is now available on Google Play in United States, Canada, U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan and Korea.
Google Nexus 5 comes in two versions, 16GB and 32GB, the 16GB variant of Nexus 5 is available on Play Store for $349 and 32GB for $399. The phone comes in all black and the white/black panda-phone model. The specifications of Nexus 5 is exactly the same as leaked, and there's nothing which we don't know. Other than the Play Store, you'll be able to grab Nexus 5 from Sprint, T-Mobile, Amazon, Best Buy and RadioShack.
Feature-wise, the Nexus 5 comes with top-line specifications, 4.95-inch Full HD IPS display with 445 ppi pixel density and Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 450MHz Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat (Vanilla). The Nexus 5 is 8.59mm thick and weighs only 130 grams.
The smartphone also comes with a 8MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), 1.3MP front facing camera, 16GB/32GB fixed internal storage and 2,300 mAh battery.
Additional features include, microUSB, SlimPort enabled, 3.5mm stereo audio jack, dual microphones, ceramic power and volume buttons, penta-band 3G, 4G LTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5GHz) 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC (Android Beam) and Bluetooth 4.0.

Google will soon launch the Nexus 5 in India. The exact date is not yet known, but Google has confirmed that the smartphone will be arriving in India in few weeks. Google Nexus 5 is already listed on Indian Play Store with a "coming soon" tag in both the colours, Black and White.
The Nexus 5 will land in India for Rs. 28,999 for 16GB version, and will cost Rs. 32,999 for 32GB version.
"Nexus 5 will be available for purchase in either black or white, no contract required, on Google Play starting today in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, U.K., Australia, Korea and Japan. Offline availability in Europe, Central/South Americas, Asia, CIS and the Middle East will begin in mid-November," Google noted in the press release.
