The global roll-out of LG G Flex has just started, and looks like India launch of the smartphone is not too far. LG India has started sending out press invites to the Indian tech press media for attending the launch event in New Delhi on December 11th. LG G Flex was originally announced back in October and it recently went on pre-order in Singapore.
Earlier, LG said that the G Flex will be available for pre-orders in Singapore from December 8th and Hong Kong from December 13th. It will hit other key Asian markets by the end of this year. The smartphone will be also available in Europe early next year and hit the US market thereafter.
The back cover of G Flex comes with self-healing technology, since it is coated with some special material, which helps in getting rid of scratches on the phone within minutes.
Feature-wise, LG G Flex comes with a 6-inch HD Curved Plastic OLED (Real RGB) display, 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 graphics, 2GB RAM, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with LG's customized UI on top and rear buttons, similar to LG G2.
Other specifications include, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 2.1MP front facing camera, 32GB internal storage with microSD card support, and 3,500 mAh battery. Connectivity series include, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and NFC support.
