Every one by now knowns that Google's latest version of Android OS, KitKat requires the minimum RAM of just 512MB, which means, smartphones (obviously Android) with as low as 512MB RAM can easily run Android 4.4 KitKat.

Samsung has already unveiled the Android 4.4 update plans for its high-end devices, which include Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note 2. Now according to a new report by SamMobile, Samsung will also be bringing the latest version of Android to its low-cost Galaxies.

A newly leaked internal document reveals that Samsung is investigating the Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy Ace 3, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Core, Galaxy Fame, and the Galaxy Fresh to see if they are capable of running Android 4.4 KitKat (KRT16) smoothly.

As described above, the stock Android 4.4 can easily run on devices with 512MB RAM, but due to Samsung's heavy and bloated TouchWiz skin, it might not be possible to see all the above listed smartphones get Android 4.4.

Note that, Samsung is just investigating the update, and has not confirmed it to arrive.
