Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite with 5.49-inch display launching next year at MWC 2014, reports

Before the launch of Galaxy Note 3 there were many rumours about Samsung's plans to launch a low-cost version of the phablet along with the original version. Sadly, Samsung only launched Galaxy Note 3 in that launch event and no low-cost version of it. But, according to SamMobile, Samsung is confirmed to launch the low-cost variant of Galaxy Note 3, dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite at MWC 2014.

The smartphone will hold SM-N7505 as its model number, which is the same model number found on Zauba recently.

As per Zauba's listing, Samsung is testing the SM-N7505 with both 5.49-inch & 5.7-inch display. SamMobile also reported that, Note 3 Lite would also come with a 8MP rear camera, LCD display rather than Super AMOLED as found on original Note 3 and Android 4.3 JB or 4.4 KitKat.

Lastly the source ended saying that the market availability of the device will begin sometime in February or March, exact dates are unclear at the moment.

In related to the news, Samsung is also said to launch a lite version of Galaxy Grand too at MWC 2014. To know more, click here.
