Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop update in Russia

Samsung in a surprising move has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its 2013- flagship devices in Russia. The Android 5.0 update is now rolling out for the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3 devices in the country. It is quite disappointing to see that the newly launched Galaxy Note 4 is yet to receive the Lollipop update.

Samsung announces Android 4.4 KitKat update schedule for 16 Galaxy devices in US

Samsung has just released its Android 4.4 KitKat roll out plans for US which includes the list of all the devices that will be getting the latest Android update in future. The roll out has started today in US. According to Samsung, the updates will continue over the coming months. The company has not revealed which devices will be the first to receive the KitKat update.

Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 starts rolling out in India

Samsung has started rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Galaxy Note 3 in India and more regions. The update is rolling out for both Snapdragon-800 and Exynos 5 octa-core variant of the Note 3 in India, South Korea, Switzerland, and the Baltic region, which include Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The update is rolling out both over-the-air and through Kies.

Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Exynos-powered Samsung Galaxy Note 3 now rolling out

Snapdragon 800-powered Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has already received the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update. And starting today, the Exynos 5 Octa-core powered Galaxy Note 3 is also getting the same update. Russia is the first country in the world to receive the 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900). 

Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 starts rolling out in Poland

Surprisingly, Samsung has started rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Galaxy Note 3 starting today from Poland. The update is rolling out for the Galaxy Note 3 N9005, Snapdragon 800 variant. The Galaxy Note 3 is the first Samsung smartphone to run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The update holds the same build number which SamMobile leaked over the weekend.

10 Million units of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 shipped by Samsung in two months

Samsung has officially announced that they have sold over 10 million units of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in just two month, leaving its predecessor behind. Samsung sold 5 million units of Galaxy Note 3 in the first month of availability, and now after a month, the number has been increased to 10 million. The Galaxy Note 3 is the 14th mobile phone from Samsung to achieve this milestone.

Samsung officially announces new colours for Galaxy Note 3: Rose Gold White, Rose Gold Black and Merlot Red

After Samsung Argentina unwillingly revealed the new colour options for the Galaxy Note 3, Samsung has now officially released a press release announcing all the three new colours of Galaxy Note 3. The Galaxy Note 3 which was launched this year in September, now comes with Rose Gold White, Rose Gold Black and Merlot Red option, in addition to already available Jet Black, Classic White and Blush Pink options.

Hours before we reported about Samsung's plan to launch two new colours for Galaxy Note 3. And now, Samsung Argentina has officially unveiled the new Galaxy Note 3 colours. The product page of Note 3 in Argentina is now updated with Rose Gold and Red colours. As reported earlier, the specifications of these variants are similar to the other colour variants.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to come in Red and White Gold colours in January

Samsung initially launched the Galaxy Note 3 in Classic White, Jet Black and Blush Pink colours. Though the black and white colours are widely available, the pink variant of Note 3 is exclusive to particular retailers and hard to find. Now, SamMobile is reporting that Samsung is going to introduce two new colours of Note 3 in January 2014.

According to Samsung, the unlocked Galaxy Note 3 is now on sale in 58 countries, with 82 more to follow by the end of the year.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launched in India for Rs. 49,900, will be available across India from September 25th

After sending press invites few days ago, Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in India today. The phablet was unveiled at an event held in New Delhi and according to Samsung, Galaxy Note 3 will be available across India starting September 25th in official Samsung India stores along with all major retailers. Samsung Galaxy S5 reported to come with 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization and Metallic Body (update)

According to Korean media Naver, Samsung is reportedly working on a new 16MP camera sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) for future flagship smartphones, but it won't be ready in time for the launch of the Galaxy Note 3.  The report claims that Samsung is in the middle of developing a 16MP sensor that will include OIS.
