Samsung officially launches Galaxy J in Taiwan with 5-inch Full HD display, 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 800 processor

Samsung has officially launched the international version of Samsung Galaxy J in Taiwan. The Galaxy J was first launched in Japan, and stands somewhere between Galaxy S4 LTE-A and Galaxy Note 3. Taiwan is the second market in the world to get Galaxy J. The smartphone comes in two colours, White and Red, and is priced at TWD$21,900 ($740) unlocked.

Samsung has officially launched the international version of Samsung Galaxy J in Taiwan. The Galaxy J was first launched in Japan, and stands somewhere between Galaxy S4 LTE-A and Galaxy Note 3. Taiwan is the second market in the world to get Galaxy J. The smartphone comes in two colours, White and Red, and is priced at TWD$21,900 ($740) unlocked.

According to Samsung, Galaxy J will also be available on contract with the four major Taiwan carriers starting at TWD$7,990 ($300) with TWD$1300 ($45) monthly tax. Samsung is also offering free Galaxy Gear to the first 150 buyers of Galaxy J.

Samsung Galaxy JSpecifications-wise, Samsung Galaxy J comes with a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 441ppi pixel density, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz UI.

Other specifications include, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 2.1MP front facing camera, 32GB internal storage with 64GB microSD card expansion and 2,600 mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy J is 8.6mm thick and weights 146 grams, and comes with support for LTE Cat 4, which offers speed up to 150 Mbps.

The smartphone also comes with Infrared LED for smart TV remote, 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (HT80), Bluetooth v4.0 LE, GPS and NFC support.
