Last week Motorola confirmed that they will be announcing the much-awaited Moto G in India on February 5th. And today, India's leading e-commerce website Flipkart has officially confirmed that the smartphone will be available for purchase starting February 5th, immediately after the launch. Flipkart has a separate dedicated Moto G page to keep track of the device.
Flipkart has not revealed the exact details, but has just confirmed that the smartphone will indeed be available from February 5th in India. No word on whether other e-retailers or brick and mortar stores will be selling the phone or not.
Flipkart has also confirmed that the coloured Moto Shells (image below) for Moto G will be available soon after the launch. Pricing details are yet unknown, but are expected to be revealed on Feb 5th.
If you aren't aware, Moto G comes with a 4.5-inch HD edge-to-edge display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front facing camera, 8GB/16GB fixed internal storage and 2,070 mAh battery. Connectivity series include, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS support.
