Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo with 5.5-inch HD AMOLED display, Hexa-core processor, 3100 mAh battery unveiled
After so many rumours and leaks, Samsung has officially unveiled the neo version of the Galaxy Note 3 called as Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo. The Note 3 Neo is the long rumoured budget version of the Note 3. Both smartphones looks almost identical to each other and have pretty much the same weight and thickness, size of Note 3 Neo is 5.5-inch while the original Note 3 holds 5.7-inch screen.
The Galaxy Note 3 Neo comes in two variants, 3G and LTE, and will be available throughout the world in three colours - Black, White and Green in February of this year. No word on pricing details yet.
Similar to original Note 3, the Note 3 Neo also comes included with a S-Pen stylus and has support for apps like Air Command, Easy Clip, Multi Window, S Note and My Magazine.
On the specifications front, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo comes with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Samsung's customized TouchWiz user-interface on top, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with up to 64GB supported microSD card slot and 3,100 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo LTE variant will ship with a hexa-core processor, which consists of 1.7GHz dual-core Cortex-A15 and 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor. Users of the HSPA+ (3G version on the other hand, will have to make do with a 1.6GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor. Other specifications include IR blaster, WiFi a/b/g/n/ac (HT80), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS/ GLONASS.
