HTC has silently announced a new smartphone in the Desire series. Dubbed as HTC Desire 310, the smartphone is the successor of Desire 300 and was spotted on the company's European website, before the listing was pulled down. The Desire 310 is the first HTC smartphone to feature a quad-core MediaTek processor.
Specifications-wise, HTC Desire 310 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, 512MB RAM, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5.0 UI on top and dual SIM support. The smartphone measures 31.44 x 68.03 x 11.25mm and weighs about 140 grams.
Other specifications include, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with expandable up to 32GB using microSD card and 2,000 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, GPS and MHL.
The Desire 310 comes in two colours, black and white, no word on the pricing or the availability at the moment.
