Earlier today serial leaker Evleaks revealed the key specifications of Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 along with an press image. Now, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 at CES 2014 in Las Vegas. The Tab Pro 10.1 will join rest of the tablets under Tab Pro series.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 comes in two version, WiFi+3G and LTE. The WiFi+3G variant of Tab Pro 10.1 is powered by Samsung's own Exynos 5 octa-core processor (1.9GHz quad-core + 1.3GHz quad-core), whereas the LTE variant of the tablet comes with a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
Specifications-wise, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 comes with a 10.1-inch Super Clear LCD display with WQXGA resolution (2560x1440 pixels), 2GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with revamped TouchWiz UI (as per the press image).
Other specifications include, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 16GB/32GB internal storage with microSD card support and 8,220 mAh battery. The rear camera of Snapdragon 800 powered Tab Pro 10.1 can record 1080p video @ 60fps, while the Exynos variant can record 1080p video @ 30fps.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is 7.3mm thick, and the WiFi+3G version weighs 469g, while the LTE one is a bit heavier at 477g. The tablet also features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, GPS+GLONASS and IR blaster.
