After leaking the images of four Galaxy tablets earlier today, evleaks has now help us look behind the curtain at Sony's. Sony is all set to announce new Xperia models at CES today evening in Las Vegas Convention Center. Before the event goes on air, evleaks has leaked a new image along with full specifications of much-awaited variant of Xperia Z1, the Xperia Z1 mini or say the Xperia Z1s.
If you look at the image clearly, the smartphone looks almost identical to the Xperia Z1 (L39t) that launched in China recently. To remind you all, Xperia Z1 (L39t) is the refreshed version of Xperia Z1.
Evleaks has also revealed the confirmed specifications of Xperia Z1s – a 4.3-inch HD display, 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, 20.7MP rear camera, 2MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage and 2,300 mAh battery.
In related to the news, according to a post at Digi-wo, Sony will be launching two flagship smartphone this year and one of them will be unveiled at CES 2014, which will happen in a few hours.
The smartphone rumoured to launch today is codenamed Sirius and will come with a 5.2-inch 2K (Quad-HD, 2560x1440p) display, Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM, 20.7MP rear camera with G Lens, Android 4.4 KitKat and 3,500 mAh battery.
The other smartphone which will be launched later this year, probably in H2 of 2014 is codenamed Canopus. No word on specifications of the device.
Sony's CES press conference will start in few hours, so till then its better we wait before going to conclusion.
