Vietnamese retailer's website lists Nokia Normandy, specifications revealed, will have support for all Google Services
Nokia Normandy is the only Nokia smartphone every Android site is talking about. The largest online retailer in Vietnam, The Gioididong, has posted a listing for the Nokia Normandy. The listing shows an official picture of Normandy with Nokia's forked version of Android, which we have already seen, along with key specifications.
According to the listing, the Nokia X aka Nokia Normandy will come with a 4.0-inch FWVGA TFT display, 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 512MB RAM, Adreno 302 GPU, Android 4.4 KitKat and dual-SIM support.
The smartphone is also said to come with a 5MP main camera with HD video recording @ 30fps, 4GB internal storage with expandable upto 32GB using microSD card, 3G connectivity (HSDPA: 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA: 5.76 Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS and Bluetooth v4.0.
The retailer has also mentioned that the smartphone comes with all Google services, including Google Play, Google Search, Google Now, Maps, Gmail, YouTube and Calendar. This can't be confirmed now, so its better to take it with a pinch of salt, as the features used in the listing could merely be copied and pasted from another Android phone.
As per previous reports, Nokia will announce the Nokia X at the MWC 2014 or on 25th March, 2014.
