Motorola announced the Moto G in India earlier this month, which no doubt is the best mid-range smartphone money can buy today. Seeing the fact that Motorola has been welcomed well in India, Moto X will also touch down on Indian shores. Motorola has announced at its MWC 2014 press conference that, the company will be launching the Moto X in India and Australia in the next few weeks.
Currently, Moto X is only available in select countries, which include US, UK, Mexico, Germany and Latin America. Moto X was originally announced last year in August. There is no word on when exactly the smartphone will be available in India and at what price. Though, Motorola will most likely sell the Moto X in India through Flipkart, the same way as Moto G.
If you are unaware, Moto X comes with a 4.7-inch HD AMOLED display and is powered by Motorola's own Motorola X8 Computing System, which adds a dedicated natural language processor and a contextual computing processor to a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and Adreno 320 four-core GPU.
The smartphone also comes with a 10MP ClearPixel (RGBC) rear camera, 2MP front facing camera, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean (4.4 KitKat update available), 2GB RAM, 2,200 mAh battery and 16GB/32GB internal storage. Connectivity series include, Bluetooth 4.0 LE+EDR, WiFi 802.11a/g/b/n/ac (dual band capable), mobile hotspot, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, UMTS/HSPA+, CDMA/EVDO and 4G LTE with NFC, USB 2.0 and Miracast.
