The picture which you see below shows the successor of Galaxy Gear smartwatch. No, we haven't missed the "Galaxy" keyword from the title. @evleaks who leaked the images reveals that these new watches from Samsung "are not Galaxy-branded". So it might be called Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo, or the watches might be running Tizen and might adopt a new branding.
According to @evleaks, Samsung will be showcasing two new Gear smartwatches at the MWC this year, called Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo. As per Samsung's naming schema, the Gear 2 will come with more advance features than the Gear 2 Neo. Also, the Gear 2 will be priced much higher than the Gear 2 Neo, which will be the affordable version.
Looking at the images, we can see that Gear 2 appears to have a metal body, whereas Gear 2 Neo is likely made up from plastic. There's also familiar Home button on the watches, similar to the Home button found on Samsung smartphones.
To remind you, couple of days back we heard that Samsung is planning to launch multiple Gear 2 variants at the MWC, one running a version of Android, while other running Tizen. The image somewhat matches to that report, but does not confirm it.
There's no way to confirm the leak, so its better you take the whole story with a pinch of salt, until and unless some more information is available.
