Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update now rolling out for Sony Xperia M

Sony has started rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Xperia M. The update is currently rolling out across a number of carrier across Europe and Asia. This is the first major OS update of the smartphone, since Xperia M comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. The update brings lots of new features and enhancements.

Sony has started rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Xperia M. The update is currently rolling out across a number of carrier across Europe and Asia. This is the first major OS update of the smartphone, since Xperia M comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. The update brings lots of new features and enhancements.

Sony Xperia M

The 4.3 update for Xperia M brings new build number 15.4.A.0.23. It is available for download over-the-air and also via Sony PC Companion.

The update is rolled out in batches, so it might take some time to reach your smartphone. You can manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > System Updates.

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Xperia M brings the following changes and features:
  • Smooth UI and graphics enhancements
  • New version of Battery STAMINA Mode for longer battery life
  • Updated camera interface bringing Burst Mode, Superior Auto & More
