HTC Butterfly successor with Full HD display, Snapdragon 801 processor, 13MP camera appears in AnTuTu
HTC announced the HTC Butterfly in December 2012, which was followed by the HTC Butterfly S in June, 2013. The Butterfly S was just a upgraded version of the original Butterfly and was not considered as the successor. Now HTC is all set to announce the successor of the original Butterfly, probably with the moniker HTC Butterfly 2.
A new HTC smartphone with model number 0PAJ3 has appeared in the AnTuTu benchmark database revealing the key specifications.
According to AnTuTu listing, the HTC 0PAJ3 (or say the Butterfly 2 for now) features a Full HD (19020 x 1080 pixels) display of unknown screen-size, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
The smartphone is also reported to come with a 13MP rear camera instead of the UltraPixel camera found on the HTC One (M8) & (M7), 5MP front facing camera and 16GB of internal storage. Rest of the details are yet unknown.
There is no word on when the smartphone will be launched officially. As the rumour mill has just started churning out, expect to hear more about the Butterfly 2 in the coming weeks.
