Long back in November 2013, we reported that LAVA is planning to launch a new 5.5-inch smartphone in India, dubbed as LAVA Iris 550Q. Now, after four months, the India manufacturer has officially launched the Iris 550Q in India. The smartphone comes in black colour and is priced at Rs. 13,000. Iris 550Q comes with a free flip cover and will go on sale across the country in coming weeks.
On the specifications-front, LAVA Iris 550Q comes with a 5.5-inch True HD IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The Iris 550Q is 9.8mm thick and weighs 177 grams. It also comes with dual-SIM support.
Other specifications include a 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with up to 32GB supported microSD card slot and 2,600 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, A-GPS and USB 2.0.
