LG recently confirmed that its upcoming flagship smartphone, the LG G3 will be launched officially sometime in Q2 of 2014. The company has now started sending out press invites to the tech press media for attending an event on May 27th and May 28th. The event will take place in six cities across the world for two days.
The launch will first take place on May 27th in San Francisco, New York and London, which will be followed by an event in Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul on May 28th.
The invite doesn't mention the word G3, but with the letter G emphasised, it surely hints at the G3. The invite message reads, "To be simple is to be Great," indicating that the phone's design, build and interface will be flat and simple.
As per previous reports, the LG G3 is expected to come with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat with revamped Optimus UI, 16MP rear camera, 2.2MP front facing camera, 32GB of internal memory with support for microSD card and 3,000 mAh battery.
