While the entire tech media was eagerly anticipating the official announcement of the LG G3, the South Korean tech giant’s smallest tablet offering got leaked by French website FrAndroid. The LG G Pad 7.0 is said to be the smallest tablet in the company’s G Pad series that also includes other offerings such as G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1.
As per the leaked images, the LG G Pad 7.0 features a fresh new look and design and instead of a metallic build the device has a plastic body. Also, the tablet appears to be thicker and wider making it an odd offering.
LG appears to have repositioned the speakers on the tablet as they are located at the rear bottom that could cover them up while handling. Further, the tablet also includes a microSD card slot at its top to make it possible to expand the internal storage space.
Adhering to the previous leaks, the LG G Pad 7.0 is said to come packed with a 7-inch display boasting a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, Android 4.4.2 KitKat, 3.2MP rear camera, 1.3MP front facing camera, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage.
