Samsung SM-G9098 which got certified by the Chinese regulatory authority TENAA in March 2014 is now official in China. This new Android-powered flip phone from Samsung comes with high-end specifications and is likely the successor of the Galaxy Golden, which was launched in India last year in October. The phone comes in only back colour and will be headed to China Mobile (telecom operator).
Similar to other Android-powered flip phones from Samsung, the G9098 also comes with dual displays, one on the front and the other inside the flip. On the specifications front, Samsung G9098 comes with a dual 3.67-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display, 2.3GHz quad-core processor (Snapdragon 800 likely), 2GB RAM and Android operating system (exact version unknown).
Other specifications include an 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, microSD card slot and 1,900 mAh battery. The phone has dual-SIM support and is 15.8 mm thick and weights 179 grams. Connectivity series include 3G, dual-band WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS + GLONASS.
There is no word on pricing or availability details yet. And also it is yet unknown whether Samsung will release the G9098 in other markets or not.
