Samsung always has something nice on offer up its sleeve every time we think that it’s done innovating. When it launched the Galaxy Golden flip smartphone last year, it brought back some old memories but it was bogged down by its high price and limited availability. But Samsung is ready to launch the successor of the Galaxy Golden - the SM-G9098. The device has been certified by the Chinese TENAA regulatory authority.
The G9098 come shod with two 3.67-inch WVGA displays, one on the outside and one on the inside. It has a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor doing the rounds at its heart. Connectivity features will include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GSM with HSPA and TD-SCDMA connectivity. It will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and will get a 2GB RAM to help it multitask.
It will get two SIM card slots with 3G being supported only on the primary SIM. There will be a microSD card as well for expansion of memory. Taking care of your imaging needs with be 13MP rear camera unit.
It is expected to make its way to us as well but will come at a price the masses won’t like it at. The Galaxy Golden when launched costed as much as a Note 3. We like being nostalgic at times but not this much that we’ll spend a huge chunk of money on the same.
