As expected, India's biggest online retailer Flipkart on Thursday has officially launched its first ever Android tablet in the country. The tablet is launched under its DigiFlip Pro brand and is dubbed as DigiFlip Pro XT712. The tablet comes with mid-range specs and is being offered in black and white colours. Flipkart has priced the DigiFlip Pro XT712 at Rs. 9,999, with both models currently out of stock.
Flipkart has bundled the tablet with loads of offers. The buyers will get free Plantronics ML2 Bluetooth Headset worth Rs. 1,199, 50% off Digiflip Pro Book Cases, free shopping worth Rs. 5,300 on Flipkart through Flipkart mobile app, free eBooks worth Rs. 2,300 and free 1-month subscription of Flipkart First service.
Talking about the specifications, DigiFlip Pro XT712 comes with a 7.0-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor, 500MHz Mali-400MP2 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with dual-SIM support. The tablet is 9.2 mm thick and weights 285 grams.
Other specifications include a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with upto 32GB expandable using microSD card and 3,000 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, USB 2.0, OTG support and A-GPS.
