Motorola did garner great success with the launch of its latest offerings including Moto G, Moto E and Moto X. In order to take this success to an all new level, it appears like the Lenovo acquired firm is planning to launch the successor of Moto G. It's not only the successor of Moto G on its way, but the company is also working on the successor of Moto X, alleged called the Moto X+1.

Moto G2

The images and specifications of the Moto G sequel has been leaked online and the device is claimed to arrive with model number XT1063 (single SIM), XT1068 (dual SIM) and XT1069(dual SIM with TV). As per the leak, the Moto G successor (alleged called Moto G2) is likely to feature front-facing speakers and design like the Moto E.

It also suggests that the alleged device will run on the latest iteration of Android and will pack a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU like its predecessor. Other specifications of the device include HD 1280 x 720p display, dual SIM functionality and an 8MP rear camera instead of 5MP in the original Moto G.

From these specifications, it seems like the Moto G2 will not differ too much from its predecessor. But, we cannot conclude it until the firm reveals an official word regarding the handset. While the other details about the Moto G2 remain unknown, as its predecessor is considered one of the best smartphones, we expect the same from its refresh model as well.
