As expected, Sony has officially took the wraps off the Xperia C3 earlier today. Sony is calling the Xperia C3 as "the world's best selfie smartphone," as it comes with 5MP front facing camera with LED flash and slew of software features. The Xperia C3 comes in dual-SIM variant too and will be available in black, white and mint (green) colours starting August 2014 in China first followed by other countries. No word on pricing details yet.
The Xperia C3 comes loaded with a unique soft flash, double tap the back to click photo feature, Smile Shutter, Superior Auto mode, PROSelfie app and more selfie camera apps. The phone also comes with AR effect, Portrait Retouch v2.0, Timeshift-burst, Picture effects, Movie Creator, Sweep Panorama, Social Live and more features.
On the specifications front, Sony Xperia C3 comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS TRILUMINOS display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 350 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat. The smartphone is 7.6mm thick and weights 150 grams.
Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front camera with LED flash and wide angle lens, 8GB internal storage with expandable upto 64GB using microSD card and 2,500 mAh batter. Connectivity series include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC support.
