As expected, Oppo has officially announced the launch of the miniature variant of Oppo N1 in the Indian market on Monday. Dubbed as Oppo N1 Mini, the smartphone looks similar to the flagship N1 and comes with rotating camera. Oppo N1 Mini comes in white, blue and yellow colours and is priced at Rs. 26,990.
According to Oppo, the white and blue colour variant of N1 Mini is now available across the country, though the yellow colour variant will go on sale later next month. Oppo N1 Mini has been over-priced and won't attract much customers. The smartphone will be competing tough with the Xiaomi Mi3, HTC Desire 816, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and more.
On the specifications front, Oppo N1 Mini comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display, 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 2GB RAM, 2,140 mAh battery, 4G LTE support and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean based Oppo's customized Color OS 1.4 on top.
The smartphone is 9.2 mm thick and weighs 150 grams. Oppo has stuffed the N1 Mini with 13MP rotating camera with LED flash and Super Zoom mode, that lets you create a 24MP image and 16GB internal storage. Connectivity series include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
