As expected, Oppo has officially announced the launch of the miniature variant of Oppo N1 in the Indian market on Monday. Dubbed as Oppo N1 Mini, the smartphone looks similar to the flagship N1 and comes with rotating camera. Oppo N1 Mini comes in white, blue and yellow colours and is priced at Rs. 26,990.

Oppo has started sending out press invites to the Indian tech press media for attending an event on August 11th, where the company will be debuting the Oppo N1 Mini in the country. As the name suggest, the N1 Mini is the miniature variant of the flagship Oppo N1 and comes with similar swivel camera. The smartphone was originally announced earlier this year in June.

As expected, Oppo has earlier today officially announced the miniature variant of the Oppo N1. Called the Oppo N1 Mini, the smartphone images and details were leaked couple of weeks ago. The N1 Mini looks exactly similar to the flagship N1, but has a smaller screen size and downgraded specs. Oppo will launch the N1 Mini in China on June 10th. (Update: Officially Launched)

Oppo debuted the world's first rotating camera smartphone dubbed the Oppo N1 last year in October. The smartphone was launched in India earlier this year in January. The highlight of N1 is its 13MP swivel mechanism camera, but with a 5.9-inch display and hefty price-tag, the smartphone didn't do well in the market. Oppo is now all set to announce the miniature variant of Oppo N1 soon.

When Oppo launched the N1 last year, it surely struck the chord of innovation by launching a device that had a never-before 13MP swivel camera. It was something so new that many were intrigued by it but the fact that it was flagship device yet had a Snapdragon 600 ticking inside it surely bogged down the device. But fret not, Oppo is gearing up to give the smartphone a sibling soon.
