After getting spotted on company's official website last week, XOLO on Monday has officially launched the XOLO Play 8X-1200 in the Indian market. The smartphone comes with mid-range specs and will be available in black colour in the coming days. XOLO has launched the Play 8X-1200 in the country for Rs. 19,999. There is no word on XOLO A1000s, which was also spotted on the website last week.
Talking about the specifications, XOLO Play 8X-1200 comes with a 5.0-inch Full HD IPS OGS display, 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592T processor, 700MHz Mali-450 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat (No HIVE UI). The smartphone measures 143 x 68.5 x 9.7mm.
Other specifications include an 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash, 5MP front facing camera, 32GB internal storage and 2,300 mAh battery. Other specifications include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and A-GPS.
In another news, XOLO has started rolling out the stable version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for XOLO Q700s. The update is rolling out over-the-air (OTA) and can also be flashed manually by downloading the update file from here.
Talking about the changes, the 4.4.2 KitKat update for Q700s brings loads of changes along which include:
