Samsung launched the successor of Galaxy Grand, the Galaxy Grand 2 in India last year and was available starting January 2014. The South Korean tech giant initially launched the phone in the country in White colour with Black and Pink colour variants were available from February. Now, Samsung has introduced a new colour variant of Grand 2 in the country, which is the Gold Grand 2.
The Golden Galaxy Grand 2 is found listed on Samsung India eStore, but is currently out of stock. The same is already available in other Asian markets which include Malaysia and Nepal. The price of Gold Grand 2 is the same as other colour options which is Rs. 20,900.
If you aren't aware of specifications, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 packs a 5.25-inch HD TFT display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (KitKat 4.4.2 update available) and 1.5GB RAM. The smartphone also comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with upto 64GB microSD card expansion and 2,600 mAh battery.
Connectivity series include, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS+GLONASS, USB 2.0 and 3G HSPA+ support. Some of the pre-loaded apps include, ChatON, Samsung Hub, S Health, Group Play, S Travel, S Translator, Samsung Link and Story Album.
