Sony has been in full swing at the IFA 2014 tech show happening in Berlin as the vendor took the wraps off a slew of offerings. Besides launching the highly anticipated Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and Xperia E3 along with SmartWatch 3, the Japanese vendor announced two QX Cyber-Shot lens style cameras as well.
The Sony ILCE-QX1 camera with removable lenses support is joined by another camera – the Sony DSC-QX30.
The QX30 is an all-in-one design although it has a striking 30x optical zoom. This camera comes with powerful features such as optical image stabilization, 20.4MP 1/2.3-inch Exmor R CMOS sensor, Sony G Lens and 24-70 mm lens that makes it on par with the quality digital cameras that are available in the market. The lens also comes with WiFi and NFC support.
On the other hand, the Sony QX1 supports interchangeable Sony E-series lenses with an APS-C Exmor CMOS 20.1MP sensor. This camera is coupled with the Sony BIONZ X image processor that is capable of delivering low noise shots. Similar to Sony QX30, the QX1 also comes with WiFi and NFC support along with microSD card support.
