While the rumors regarding the Nexus 9 tablet made by HTC are circulating across the tech media world, an alleged image of the tablet has been leaked by @upleaks. The source points out that the upcoming slate will arrive with a matte finish plastic back as seen in the image rather than a metal back. This leaked image shows the device very reminiscent of the Nexus 5 in terms of design, the large camera eye and edged vertical Nexus logo on the back.
In addition, the Nexus 9 tablet was spotted at the US regulatory website FCC lately that is an indication for the imminent launch of the slate. Of course, there is no way to check the authenticity of the image and we ought to consider this as a dose of skepticism. This HTC made tablet is believed to go official this month and hence, we will get to have a look at the device soon as it launches.
As per the ongoing rumors, the Nexus 9 is believed to arrive fitted with an 8.9-inch display with a screen resolution of 2048 x 1440 pixels and incorporate a NVIDIA Tegra K1 64-bit quad-core processor backed up with 3GB of RAM. The other aspects of the tablet include support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and LTE connectivity features and feature 16GB and 32GB of internal storage capacities.
As of now, there is no word from either HTC or Google regarding the exact release date or the pricing of the tablet and we ought to wait to hear regarding the slate.
