Google Nexus 9, the next generation Nexus tablet was unveiled earlier this year in October. The tablet is manufactured in partnership with HTC and was listed on the Google Play Store in India last month. Google has priced the 16GB WiFi version of Nexus 9 at Rs. 28,900 and the 32GB WiFi + LTE version costs Rs. 44,900. Now, the Nexus 9 is available from Amazon India.

Today is that day every Nexus owner has been waiting for since June 2014, after Google unveiled the next iteration of Android. Google has officially announced that it has started rolling out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update for most Nexus devices. The devices which are currently running on KitKat will be updated to Lollipop and the newly launched Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 gets a small bug fix update.

Along with Google Nexus 6, Google has also listed the next-generation Nexus tablet on the Google Play Store in India. Dubbed as Nexus 9, the tablet is manufactured in partnership with HTC. The Nexus 9 was listed on the India Play Store soon after its official announcement last month. According to the listing, Google will be releasing the 16GB WiFi and 32GB LTE versions of Nexus 9 in the country.

With the announcement of next-generation Nexus smartphone, Google has also unveiled the next-generation Nexus tablet on Wednesday. The new Nexus tablet is called Google Nexus 9 and as expected, is built-in partnership with HTC. The Nexus 9 is the fourth Nexus tablet after Nexus 7 (2013), announced last year. It is the first HTC-made Nexus tablet and has a 4:3 aspect ratio.

While the rumors regarding the Nexus 9 tablet made by HTC are circulating across the tech media world, an alleged image of the tablet has been leaked by @upleaks. The source points out that the upcoming slate will arrive with a matte finish plastic back as seen in the image rather than a metal back. This leaked image shows the device very reminiscent of the Nexus 5 in terms of design, the large camera eye and edged vertical Nexus logo on the back.
