Google announced the Nexus 6 smartphone last year in October. The smartphone is the successor of Nexus 5 and is the first Nexus phone with huge 5.96-inch display. Nexus 6 is built in partnership with Motorola and is based on 2nd gen Moto X smartphone. Google launched the Nexus 6 in India two months after its official announcement with hefty price tag of Rs. 43,999 for base 32GB variant.

Google at the Great Online Shopping Festival last week officially announced the launch of Nexus 6 smartphone and the most popular media streaming device, the Google Chromecast in India. Google Nexus 6 went on pre-order in the country last month at Flipkart and now the same will be available at Flipkart and Google Play in the coming days. Whereas, the Google Chromecast is already available exclusively from online retailer Snapdeal.

Google has officially announced the launch of sixth generation Nexus smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as Google Nexus 6, the smartphone is made in partnership with Lenovo-owned Motorola and is now available from online retailer Flipkart. The smartphone comes in Cloud White and Midnight Blue colours and is priced at Rs. 43,999 for 32GB variant and Rs. 48,999 for 64GB variant.

Today is that day every Nexus owner has been waiting for since June 2014, after Google unveiled the next iteration of Android. Google has officially announced that it has started rolling out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update for most Nexus devices. The devices which are currently running on KitKat will be updated to Lollipop and the newly launched Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 gets a small bug fix update.

Google officially took the wraps off the next-generation Nexus smartphone called the Nexus 6 last month. The smartphone is made in partnership with Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility. Soon after its official announcement, Motorola revealed that the Nexus 6 will be launched in 28 countries later this year, out of which Google has listed the smartphone on Google Play in 12 countries recently, including India.

As the Nexus 6 has gone official, its time for Motorola to reveal the availability plans of the device. Nexus 6 is Motorola’s first ever Nexus smartphone that resembles the design of the new Moto X launched in September. Well, the manufacturer has confirmed that the Nexus 6 smartphone will be released in 28 countries including North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and India by the end of this year.

After months of leaks and rumours, Google finally on Wednesday officially took the wraps of the much-awaited next-generation Nexus smartphone called Google Nexus 6. As expected, the new Nexus 6 is built in partnership with Motorola and is based on 2nd generation Moto X smartphone.
