HTC Desire 601 aka HTC Zara and Desire 300 aka Zara Mini officially announced, to go on sale from October

Much leaked and rumoured HTC Zara is now official as HTC Desire 601 as it's market name along with HTC Zara Mini as HTC Desire 300. Part of the company's desire series, the new smartphones will join other desire series smartphones like, Desire 200, Desire 500, Desire 600 and Desire 600c. According to HTC, both the smartphones will go on sale in select markets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa from October on-wards.

Over a month ago, a new HTC mid-range handset came in news with Evleaks leaking the first press render of the device last week. Dubbed as HTC Zara, it is the company's upcoming smartphone with mid-end specifications. The company is also reported to launch the mini version of HTC Zara.

The rumoured and leaked HTC Zara is back in news after one month. The smartphone details were first leaked last month by LlabTooFeR and Evleaks have now leaked the first press render of this upcoming HTC mid-end handset. Dubbed as HTC Zara, the smartphone is expected to get released sometime in Q4. Evleaks have also leaked the specifications of the smartphone, which you can read below.

HTC working on another mid-level handset dubbed as HTC Zara, specifications leaks online

After launching three new mid-end handsets in 2013, HTC is currently reported to be working on one more mid-level handset, dubbed as HTC Zara. The news was reported by China Times, and according to their report, HTC Zara will come with plastic chassis, unlike the metal chassis present in HTC One and HTC One Mini. The smartphone manufacturer is also rumoured to be working on bigger version of HTC One, dubbed as HTC One Max.
