#HYPE, OnePlus 2 is finally official. OnePlus has officially took the wraps off the successor of OnePlus One at a VR event, which was first of it's kind. OnePlus to announce OnePlus 2 on July 27th in Virtual Reality event; specifications, pricing, features and more revealed

We have been hearing about the next generation OnePlus smartphone, dubbed as OnePlus 2 since a long time. OnePlus 2 is the company's second smartphone after the OnePlus One. OnePlus has stepped forward and has revealed that the OnePlus 2 will be unveiled officially on July 27th in a virtual reality event at 7:00 PM PT (July 28th 7:30 AM IST). This will be the first ever product launch to happen in VR, claims the firm.

After being slapped with infringement of exclusivity in India, OnePlus announced that it will be coming up with its own Android 5.0 Lollipop based ROM for the One smartphones in the country. While the alpha version of the same was launched sometime in December, this week the vendor unleashed the final build and named it OxygenOS.
